Also the wire you use to stick them into a player or so forth isn't straight as the usual are for ipods, and such. Yes, the packaging, and all of that looked official yet a closer look at the ear buds said other wise. Well, I had purchased these for $78 then realizing mine was fake. Mine did come with 5 ear bud tips. Just beware of what you are buying. On the side of the triangle part it has the monster label instead of the beats logo.
A lot of people seem to be complaining about the triangle shape not fitting in their ears correctly, and I have had absolutely no problem with them fitting at all. I got the Rose Red and they are BEAUTIFUL. I love my Heartbeats headphones.
I tried all the sizes that they came with and none would stay in--at all. I workout for an hour a day/6 days a week and wear earphones the entire time. These look so cool I just had to buy them. BIG disappointment--I returned them. Unfortunately, they would NOT stay in my ears.
But it just won't stay in my ear. I'm going to keep it just for the heck of it, but I've gone back to my $20 Sony in ear headphone, which fits so much better. And since it doesn't fit right, it doesn't sound right either. Looks great, I get lot of compliments. I've tried all different size attachments and none of them fit. I absolutely love lady gaga so I'm very very disappointed, especially with the price I paid. They just keep falling out.
I have the red, and upon opening the box I was a disappointed to see that the color is more of a pinky-red and not "Rose Red". The tangle free cord is nice, but if you touch it, or wear dangle earrings that bump the cord, you will hear that feedback/interference, which is quite annoying.Overall they have a great look and are fun to wear, but they are not worth $100. There is not much bass, although they do block outside sounds pretty good. The best part of these headphones is the look. I have read countless great reviews, so I was looking forward to some amazing sounds. Had they not been a gift, I would be returning them. However, when I finally got the right fit and pressed play.I didn't think they sounded any better than my Sony pair that cost $20.
