Not a big issue, as generally I use the larger bits, but anoying. This extension fits very tightly, so there is little egging of the holes due to being off center. The piece has tight tolerance - I have the freud forstner set - similar to Freud FC-107 7-Piece Carbide Forstner Bit Set on Amazon but a few years older. I do wish however that the set screws were a bit shorter. Will just have to get some shorter screws (Someday) ;-) WHen using this with a 1/2 inch bit, the heads of the set screws would mar the inside of the hole as I went deep.
