The sizes are useful for various projects around the house.I used the 3/16 inch bit to drill holes in my ceramic tile shower wall to hang a towel bar. Bosch GT3000 Glass and Tile Set, 8-Piece I purchased these bits for a bathroom remodel project. They worked as advertised cutting holes in thick glass tiles and regular ceramic tiles. Very satisfied with the purchase and the bit sizes included in the set. They have very sharp points so getting them started was easy.
