With that said, when using them for pocket joining they are great at. They quality is excellent. There are a lot of vise type camps you can get on the cheap and these DO NOT fall into that category but you get what you pay for and these are top notch. How ever these are only really useful with pocket joining as the one side is just a post that fits nicely into the hole made when doing pocket joints. Not only do they serve practically as a second set of hands but unlike other clams they attach exactly where you want them and hold exactly they way you want. It can be used with other things but the one side is only about 5/16" diameter so keep that in mind.

To me, this is an absolute necessity when using with the Kreg jig. This is especially true with harder wood. The standard flat clamp that comes with the set works great to keep the tops aligned, but this clamp keeps the pieces tightly together when putting in the screw.
This is a great addition to the kreg pocket hole jig and face clamp. This clamp is a must if you have a number of large pieces to attach with pocket holes. It holds the pieces in place especially if you are pocket holing right angle pieces and allows you to get one screw in place. I would say if you buy the jig don't wait just order this clamp at the same time. I have used it on attaching a headboard to a murphy bed that I built and it made the procees as simple as pie.
I built half my project without the use of this clamp using the Kreg system. I wish I would not have even started the project without this clamp because it makes it so much easier. Then I received this clamp and finished it.
