Like another reviewer, I had purchased cheap plywood blades at Home Depot. It cuts FAST and straight with hardly any tearout. Enter this blade. This blade cuts like a hot knife through butter on my Skilsaw. I had all sorts of trouble with those blades - couldn't cut very fast (due to a ridiculously high tooth count), burnt the wood, and had binding and kickback. Definitely worth the $20 - it has made using my circ saw a pleasure again, and I no longer dread having to break down plywood. My stock 24T blade didn't give a nice enough cut for plywood or MDF.
This blade worked great in slicing a large panel of 1/4 inch thick Plexiglass into smaller pieces to replace the glass in several storm doors. I would recommend this blade. It produced a very smooth, no chipping edge. Also worked well on ripping some MDF being ripped to size.
Once you use this brand of blade you will never use anything else Seems sharper smoother and maintains sharpness longer
I purchased the Freud D0760X Diablo Ultra Finish saw blade. Cuts like butter. The blade cuts very good without splintering the wood.
Nice, clean, square cuts and the only scorch marks were the ones I made when my power cord snagged and I couldn't push forward. I tried ripping some 3/4" poplar with the (slightly cheaper) Skill version of this same blade style and found it a beast to work with. It kept burning and splintering the wood so badly none of it was usable, so I ended up switching to a cheap hollow ground plywood blade which was slow, ran out of square, and prone to binding. Freud's made a fan of me. Then I picked up one of these and couldn't believe the difference a few dollars made.
