User Comments about the Mac OS X Snow Leopard Family Pack (5-User)

I like when Amazon sells Apple products at a discount with Prime shipping. That's why I bought Snow Leopard from Amazon instead of the Apple.

I ended up reformatting MBP. so it could have been a drive issue.noticed small speed bump but have had way fewer crashes.recommend, but backup your drive first. did upgrade again on 500gb 16mb hard drive.this one went flawlessly. Faster, smaller and more stable.well worth the upgrade and at a low amazon price.Install went much faster on the MacBook than on my Macbook pro. something went wrong. it pays off. Have since upgraded hard drive and used an older leopard clone.

Easily upgraded three 10.5 systems. Right up there with Linux as far as stability, memory management, and simplicity. Have seen no issues with the OS. What a difference between this and frigin Windows.

Hey guys,I love Snow Leopard, and I love mac. but save your money. 5-star for the actual program. Why am I giving it 1-star.The individual license CD has unlimited installs.Don't waste your money on the family pack.Apple kinda ripped us off by selling a "5-user" pack that is unlimitedas well as a single that is unlimited. You should definitely still upgrade.

I know realplayer doesn't work on SL yet, for instance. Mac OS X has always been a fine operating system. Snow Leopard is great. It also borked a lot of other software, MAMP being another. If you're getting a new mac with snow leopard, you don't have to worry. As for Snow Leopard (10.6), It's just not enough of an improvement over 10.5 to justify upgrading. However, Note: If you do intend to upgrade, be sure to check your software compatibility.
