MobileMe is the service from Apple that automatically pushes new email, contacts, and calendar events over the air to your iPhone and keeps everything in sync across your Mac, PC, and the web. So your important information is up to date everywhere you go—no docking required. MobileMe also gives you an elegant online Gallery for sharing your photos with friends and family, and iDisk for accessing and sharing files via your computer, the web, and your iPhone. And if you ever lose your iPhone, MobileMe can help you find it or remotely wipe your data to protect your privacy. Note that the Find My iPhone feature is not available in all areas.

Why by from Apple when you can get the exact product from Amazon and save money,
Get it.AND, Amazon sells it for $30 less than Apple. I LOVE MobileMe. It's a great online solution for sharing files, pushing calendar and email to my iPhone, finding my phone and the peace of mind knowing that if I lose my phone I can wipe it or find it, host my website, serve as an extra storage place for my personal files, and more. So not only get it, but get it on Amazon. MobileMe is boss.
What I do have a problem with is how this was purchased. I use it to host my website, and that's great. Talk about a waste of resources: packaging, fuel for shipping, labor to package and ship it. This has me wondering why shipping an empty box from New Jersey to Seattle, WA, is needed. I have no qualms with MobileMe. All you are getting is a product code. Now, I'm grateful for the lower price on Amazon (saved around 25 frog skins when compared with Apple), but the delivery needs to be something like this: buy MobileMe code -> have MobileMe code e-mailed to me -> use MobileMe code. That is it.
DO NOT BUY AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. I feel like a moron for paying any money for this program and it ends up being a ongoing yearly fee. This is by far the most useless, overprice piece of junk I have ever used. ($99) The only reason I bought this was for the find your phone application but it doesn't work well enough to actually find your phone, all you might get is what block its on. VERY DISAPPOINTED. The other applications don't provide anything useful, my email already syncs to my phone, syncing my calendar with my computer is useless since I always have my phone with me why do I need it in two places.TOTALLY USELESS.
The IDisk is very useful letting me store some.doc files that I converted to.PDF for viewing when on the go where the IPhone does not allow on phone file storage / access. Smooth installation. You also have a calendar and an email address on mobileme. Great way to keep my calendars on 3 different devices (2 pc 1 iphone) in sync by allowing me to input up dates on any one of them and the others are automatically updated. There is also the plus of allowing very large file storage that most email servers can not handle and emailing another contact a password and link to access / download. The only down side is the yearly renewal Updates calendars, favorites/bookmarks, contacts, etc in sync.
