User Comments about the Bare-Tool DEWALT DC720KB 18-Volt Cordless 1/2-Inch Drill/Driver with Case (Tool Only, No Battery)

You have the capability of drilling a little longer because of it not weigh very much. But the kicker is that it cost a whole lot less.Remember it is the dewalt cordless drill 1/2in.,18volt baretool,. The drill is fantastic, it weighs less than the older version, and it has better torque power with a light, that it didn't have before. It cost at least 150 dollars cheaper. I purchased this through amazon.com. You can use it twice as long cause it only weighs 4lbs.4oz.

Have the XRP 1/2" hammerdrill, with batteries and charger the bare tools are a great buy. Own several dewalt products, they never let me down. Drill has plenty of power/torque for its size. In different situations I needed a smaller-lighter drill, this tools fills it.

Good tool, I'm alreay having problems with the chuck on it. It works great, just feels like it's not going to last as long as my last one. This is a great deal if you already own 2+ batteries and don't want to spend the extra cash to get a new charger, batteries, case, etc. I personally believe that DeWalt's quality is going downhill, but I could have gotten a bad one.
