At the maximum setting, (using a masonry bit), the drill is supposed to be able to handle concrete walls. Power is plugged into a jack on the back of the handle. A double sided screwdriver bit, is attached to a clip on the drill body. It is simple to use, as the motor operates in forward or reverse, controlled by a switch in the handle. The drill comes with a no frills nylon carrying case, and a few assorted bits. The battery needs to be attached to the drill to be charged. If you are looking for an economical general use cordless drill, you might want to check out his model.
The frame is on the smaller side, and it is relatively lightweight. With the proper bit, it can handle materials like plastics, wood, CMU, and some metals. It is powered by a 12 volt battery, and develops decent torque (rated at 105 inch/pounds) for light to moderate tasks. For light tasks, this lightweight tool could be a good option, but repeating again, this drill is not designed for high speed, or heavy torque applications. This drill is probably not suited for heavy commercial construction applications, as it does not reach high speeds, or develop high torque, and the battery life is probably not long enough to last you through a full day of heavy duty use.For the casual user however, the drill may meet your needs. The torque is adjustable to six different levels. If you intend to do mostly heavy duty tasks, you would be better off buying a more powerful unit, that operates at higher voltage.
When you intend to drill through dense material, keep in mind that the bits are locked down by hand tightening the chuck (there is no key), so if the chuck is not tight enough, it may free spin if your bit gets stuck.

Charges quickly and holds the charge for quite a while. Colorful drill works great. Just what every guy needs for the occasional home repair. Highly recommended. Comes with basic accessories.
Also, considering it is cordless, makes both for drill and drive, comes with all the accessories you will need for occasional use (drill and drive bits) and it comes with a carrying bag. This is a very good drill/driver for occasional home use. The driver function is very good, I expected a little more from the drill, which is a little slow considering the power of this machine, and if you are going to use this drill for long periods, you will find it a little bit heavy. put all this into account and you have a great value for you money. But overall, it works great for occasional use.
The drill works great. It is nice to have the accessories; that is why I chose this drill. I received it in a timely fashion and in fine condition.
