It's good if you think you need it. you know all that.it's noisy as a regular household vacuum :) but its a vacuum. I bought it to vacuum the food after my baby.which he trows it on the floor and spills water too.
Good Quality hand held vac. A little heavy and bulky but with good suction and portability.
I once had this side by side with a shark hand vacuum and the suction of the shark blew this away. This is a very rugged vacuum that has a convenient battery recharge system, detachable hose and a large dust container. The suction performance of this vacuum is very weak though. It wasn't even close. I was very disappointed.
loud, but unlike other cordless dustbusters, this one is actually useful. plan on using hearing protection for anything more than a second or two.
Great vacuum, but just a word of caution. Replacement batteries are over $100. This version *does not* come with a battery or charger, so make sure you already have an 18v DeWalt tool. Either that or spend $50 more for the model that does include the battery.
