User Comments about the SKLZ Rick Smith Launch Pad - All Purpose Hitting Mat

good product, if hitting for less than a month, easy to tear and "grass" easy to come off, all glued product

Maybe the poor reviewers received "lemons" but the one I have is great. The two tees (of different height) also help simulate tee shots with your driver and irons. It serves its purpose well and has helped me keep my sanity by allowing me to practice my swing inside during the snow storms.

like every one is saying the grass does not stay on poorly made dont buy it

It's also very portable. I haven't tried it yet but I like the fact that it has two levels. Seems to be well made. Use the taller grass side for practice chipping. I like the product very much. Having two tee sizes allows for practice with your driver and irons.

When I proceeded to hit balls it took pieces of chunks out of the blade of my 5-iron. It started to fall apart on me the first day I got it. I was using foam practice balls and even with the light resistance of the foam balls it started to crack. It is aesthetically pleasing but unforgiving and poor design. Secondly, when I used the mat for the first time it I used it on pavement because I live in an urbanish area.
