This charger is absolutely the best. Can't say enough about this charger. Charges all the types of batteries and the new Li-Ion batteries is about an hour. Basically an all in one charger.
I am VERY pleased with the DeWalt DC9310.It works fast and it salvaged two VERY OLD, completely-drained, batteries (out of the three that I had). My original charger was not able to restore them to a point of even taking a charge, but the DC9310 really did the job. I did not think any of them would take a charge again.
One drawback. Ready to rip it up. Operation is pretty straight forward. Worked absolutely fanatastic. Second review.
Plug the charger in, put in the battery and wait an hour. Received the product, appropriately packaged, new condition and I promptly put it to use. Other than the shipping papers and receipt, there was no other paperwork to be found.most notably, owners/operators manual. But, a little inside information would be nice to have, explaining do's/don'ts, warranty, parts available, things like that.Otherwise, I am tickeled that I can finally use my DeWalt. parts list.
This was not a good experience. I tried to locate online the company that sent it, to get a phone number to call about the order. This charger was listed as new, with a good price, but when it arrived, it was just a charger, unpackaged and wrapped in newspaper; no instructions, no warranty information, etc. The only information on their website was for a location in China, with no contact information in the USA. If someone had experience with the charger (I didn't) they might be pleased with this kind of delivery because of the price. I called Amazon, and they did not have a phone number for the company either; Amazon did give me a link to send them an email about the order and I was able to send it back and get a refund.
I purchased this item because I want to make custom battery for my DC750KA, with NiMH cells, so I needed a dewalt charger which can do NiMH as well as NiCD.First of all, on the picture you see unit in blister pack, my unit arrived in label-less carton pack, only label was "Ready to Ship".2nd, I can't understand, why this unit is so huge in size. If you plan to disassemble this unit (what I don't recomend at all), take care of fact, that it is assembled using Security Torx screws, and it has 2nd PCB, welded to main one via very short leads, so when you open the case, most likely you'll crack the PCB.Otherwise, this is good product, charges my batteries really fast, what I'd like to see is the audio alarm for charge completion - as in more expensive models. I opened it, and inside components are placed in very relaxed way - overal volume of charger body can be reduced by 40% at least if desired.
