Besides the fact that you're always trying to figure out which is forward and which is reverse, you're also dealing with the trigger below operated with forefinger, or above, operated by thumb. Denali, Milwaukee, Hitachi. No convenient cradle, or exchangeable battery. No belt clip or storage case/pouch. Seems like a nice idea.
Unfortunately not well thought out by the designers. Two arrows light up but you never know which way they're pointing. Just a driver that doesn't do anything particularly well.I have several low voltage drivers, and this is the last one I would take with me, or use when I have the choice. All have at least one feature to put them above the rest. A driver that can be used straight on or as a pistol type driver.
A worthless led light is always turning on when you don't want it to and draining power.Comes with a brick charger that plugs into the driver. No this one.Not real happy with this purchase. No storage for bits in handle, or anywhere else.
The only problem that I have had is the bits are difficult to pull out and change. It has a nice light at the end that can be used to see screws in dark places with out holding a flashlight. Plus, it only comes with two tips, a regular screw driver and a small phillips. I use my rechargeable drill alot; however, it is large and difficult to get into small places. It is light weight and the handle is adjustable. You can use it like a "gun" or straighten the handle to where the handle is straight. Sometimes I have to pull it out with a pair of pliers (but I guess that is better than them being too loose and falling out). Would have been better if it came with a few different sizes of phillips heads, but these are easily attainable at the hardware store.
This little guy does the job. The charge seems to last quite awhile also. All in all, a great unit for the price. Plus, the unit is mall enough to fit in my pocket when I am going up into the attic.
This is a great addition to my tools. The built in light and directional indicators are a great plus.Only complaint is that there is nowhere to store the tips. It is light and compact, tuff with lots of power.
This product is not strong enough and will run out of power only after a few try,s. I would ( NOT ) recomend this product for the serious do it your selfer. also foward and backward is always getting mixed with a slight touch af hand.
And this is after I've had it for over 3 years so the you can tell that the rechargeable batteries are really good.-Great price.Cons:-Limited bits. As long as you're not changing tires or other heavy duty work, you should be okay.-The direction reversing toggle sometimes gets stuck on neutral when you're using the screwdriver. I've been using this for almost three years now. Again minor. If you are using manual screwdrivers, you definitely need to get this. Recently, I've been able to take down and put back up curtain rods for the whole house without a recharge when repainting my walls. I am able to do all the work around the household including furniture assembly and such. Be sure to get magnetic ones (they are so helpful when aligning the screws with no hands.-Lower power than the professional cordless ones.
It's a very handy tool, great for using around the house, especially things that require very long screws.Pros:-It's lightweight so you can work upside down without your arm getting tired unlike the heavy duty power drivers.-It's convenient so when you need it right away, it's already charged and ready to go.-Long lasting Lithium Ion batteries allows me to work on a job for over an hour at a time. That's minor and I was able to go out and buy an extra set of bits to complement this. It will save you time and strain on your wrist/arm. This is also minor for me.
