User Comments about the Milwaukee 2401-22 12-Volt Li-Ion Compact Driver Kit

The Milwaukee 2401-22 is a great product. A caution should be excercise in noting if it has a drill chuck for drilling or is a driver only. It is light in weight and strong enough for most home and some commercial jobs.

The battery life keeps on living, and there's a second one so you can keep working while charging at the same time. But I don't think so. It even has a light to illuminate hard to see projects. All this having been said, I have to admit that the degree to which I treasure this thing seems a bit unbalanced. But it's not. I can't get enough of this tool. It's amazing.I need to point out that this is the first electric screwdriver I've ever owned. So maybe my enthusiasm is for the category as much as this particular item. It can be calibrated to perform with power or finesse. It's just that good.Oh, I forgot.

I want to use it on everything. Everything about this embodiment of what's obviously a great idea seems executed flawlessly. It's light, but just substantial enough to hold steady in all circumstances. It comes with a snappy red carrying case. Build quality is exceptional, with outstanding fit and finish.

I was seriously debating between this one and the Bosch PS20. It's only useful as a drill in soft wood or wallboard because of it's low speed; buy it if you need a handy power screwdriver. Great feel, small and light, easy quick-change, LED light, fuel meeter, good clutch, variable speed, lots of power. I recently purchased this cordless screwdriver. After much scrutiny, I bought this one (although I'll bet that I would have also been happy with the Bosch). Great product Milwaukee. I've already used it several times and am very happy with it.

This drill did everything we asked it to, and it even came with two batteries.

When I pay a premium for a Milwaukee product, I expect it to be solid, sturdy and made in North America. Extremely disappointed, Milwaukee should do better than this, same quality of manufacture as a $20 Black and Decker. I *don't* expect it to have cost less than $5 to have been manufactured in *CHINA*.
