Now, when you use the sideburn/neck trimmer on your sideburns you are left with stubble. I don't know about you, but stubble in the nose is not sightly. After I tried using it, I realized that Panasonic must have changed the blade setting, because it does not give a close enough shave. After the first try, it was worse than the new Panasonic model. Thing about it. I own the Panasonic ER411 nose trimmer which is excellent; closest shave you can get with a nose trimmer.
Panasonic replaced the ER411, with the ER415SC, so I bought it thinking it would be the same or better. So, I decided to try out this Norelco. They placed the sideburn/neck trimmer on a regular shaver on this contraption to fit in the ear and nose cavity. You are better off using a small scissor. It was getting old, so I decided to get a new one. The motor works fine, but the design does not cut nose hair close enough.
I'm going to write to Panasonic to bring back the ER411, and you should too. Don't waste your money on this one.
I had tried several products--nose hair clippers--prior to this, but they didn't work very well. Totally satisfied. So, having purchased a Norelco triple headed shaver that I was extremely satisfied with, I decided to try the Norelco Nose Hair Clipper. I was pleasantly surprised at how safe and effective it is.
Does the job, but does not do to well on longer nose hairs in the upper and lower parts of the nose. Round clippers seem to do a better job.
I've seen other reviews that mentioned similar problems, so there must be some kind of manufacturing defect. And then after using it twice, it stopped working. My husband said this was the best trimmer he's used. It sat in the bathroom for a couple of weeks before either one of us got around to doing anything about it. If it works, it's great; but then you never know if it's going to work when you need it. And then it suddenly started working again.
I see from others here that they had similar experiences. This product should no longer be sold. Mine died within 10 uses. Utter garbage. Obviously, I tried new batteries, and that didn't work.
