Also you may need to sand or grind the cap nuts so they will not rub on the frame. No leaking, and not too loud. Tumbler works real well. Belt will break 1st use 1st day, but by replacing with a regular sock nylon it works flawlessly - 6 weeks and still going. With a couple easy mods great model for the price. Cut about 3" down the tube and double it (figure 8 and back to circle), roll onto pullies - problem solved.
This product is a POS. Don't waste your money. The belt broke after one day and the motor burned out within 2 weeks.
I bought this tumbler and not only will the odor from it drive you out of your house, or garage, it goes through belts like a hot knife through butter. If you are stuck with one a vacuum cleaner belt will work, as well as the "O" for a house water filter. Take your money and invest in a Thumblers Tumbler or Lortone.
and have not had any problems with the repaired belt. The bearings in the motor had a build up of rust. After replacing the motor bearings the motor was silent. I have over 2 months on the 1st repaired belt. After replacing the second belt I repaired both belts with super glue.
I figured as long as I'm paying $7 dollars for shipping I may as well order a few extras. The last one at least lasted about 4 days (a new record). You can probably buy a decent one for an extra $20 and based on how long the belts last it should pay for itself in a couple of weeks. The belt broke after 2 days. If the belts lasted longer this would be a good machine but until they come up with a better belt I don't recommend this machine.
I ordered new belts from Harbor Freight and they want to charge you $7 for shipping alone. Glad I did. I've had about 12 days of total run time and have gone through 4 belts already. I've tried adjusting the pulleys and the belts are still breaking.
