User Comments about the Bosch T4B Gravity-Rise Miter Saw Stand

Found them all helpful in making my final purchase.Am giving back now. I installed a flex head 1500 watt mini halogen. I have used many other chop saw stands and brands, they just did not have the stability to support my demanding requirements that this stand does. The mounting worked sort of well (not a Bosch saw, took some fine tuning) It arrived well packaged, easy to assemble with some common tools. I have used their bench saw gravity stands and found them superior to any other out there.

Outside of that, good product, and I would recommend it. On the heavy side, but it is sturdy enough to support my 12" Hitachi Compound Slider. The second time a wheel went flat, I installed inner tubes with a 90 bend connector. It is easy enough for lower profile caps. (I do it often enough.I guess it might be impressive to the impressionable) CONS:Pneumatic wheels could be larger, air is on the inside of the frame and straight, hard to connect air. I read the reviews here and on many other sites.

This was a contributing factor in my decision to buy this chop saw stand and accept the risk. After owning this stand for a year and using it on many sites, here is my take.PROS:Very pleased with it overall. (unlike some of the reviews.you have to be smarter than the tool). It is superb for portability and site stability. This stand with saw connected is too large to fit in a truck with a cap unless you have a high top cap. No on board lighting. I get a kick out of the younger carpenters when they see me perform the magic. I had never encountered a Bosch chop saw gravity stand. No problem for cargo vans.

-Bob. Disconnect the saw, stow it, collapse the stand, stow it, done.

AS USUAL, AMAZON, EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY HUSBAND FOR FATHER'S dAY FROM HIS 100 POUND PUPPY. HE LOVED IT. THANK YOU FROM MY PUPPY, HIS DADDY AND ME. IT FOLDS UP NICELY AND HIS BOSCH MITER SAW FITS IT WELL.

The Bosch T4B is great. The T4B is just the addition that was needed to make my Compound mobile.Easy to assemble and easy to use and the usual outstanding Bosch quality.I should have purchased it when I purchased the saw. I purchased my Bosch Sliding Compound saw about a year ago. I move it from my workshop to the garage to our lake cabin.

I purchased this stand about a year ago, after finding that my T2 stand, while really nice, wasn't sturdy enough for my 12" sliding compound. This stand is not only stable, but it is so much easier to get in and out of mmy van and set up on the jobsite.

I purchased this for my husband as an anniversary gift not knowing whether he would like it or not. It is a bit heavy but that is what makes it stable. He has worked in construction for 25 yrs+ and loved it. Sturdy construction and ease of mobility.
