User Comments about the Dremel 1130-01 120V 7.2V Screwdriver / Stylus Combo

Most of the stuff I need it for is small stuff and the small and cordless nature of this tool makes it perfect. While I do have a drill/driver with adjustable torque, this little thing is just handy when I want to work quick or get into smaller spaces. which is really where it's power lies as it's a low torque machine. True it's not the standard Dremel and not as powerful, but then I don't need this for wood working. I like tinkering and modifying, but for some reason I just never owned a Dremel.

You have to let the speed do the work and not push down to make it "work better."The included driver is also a nice addition. It's probably a cost thing, but I was able to get it for a really good price and finally caved and got this set. When I'm done I just place it in its charger and it's ready to go next time. All in all it's a good set, but I probably wouldn't have gotten it if I had to pay $100 or more.As others have mentioned though, getting the Dremel 697-06 Accessory Kit Dremel 697-06 150-Piece Rotary Tool Super-Accessory Assortment is a nice addition to this. I must say for such a small device it can get very, very fast.

Easy to use, love the lithium-ion battery. Haven't done many things with the stylus but I look forward to using it. Feels good in the hand and has great torque for its size. The variable speed on the driver is also a plus.

Both tools exceeded my expectations. awsome product. the rotory tools battery was my main worry, but it lasts for hours on a charge. i thought of the screwdriver as an extra that i really could have done without, but i find myself using it more and more.

The screwdriver completely amazed me. I used the screwdriver last weekend to build shelves for my home video system. The battery help up all day too.The Dremel tool in the kit is a much better design than their old fashioned "straight" design. It was amazing. This Dremel pair is the best I've ever used. I used a Torx #25 bit and 2-1/2" screws and it drove them through hardwood and the unit just dug in and kept going. I assume the battery is the same so expect an all day helper thre too.I wish I could give it a 6 or more star rating. I was so surprised that a unit that fits in the palm of my hand could do that.

I am into model airplane building and flying and this tool is really handy for getting into tight places along with it's variety of tools available.I use the sanding drums and the cut off wheels the most,I suggest getting the adjustable chuck so you can use drill bits,it is really nice having a small drill motor in your hand instead of a overkill 24V Makita for small intricate work. The driver is really nice for removing and replacing screws fast. I also got the 150 pc combo bit set that gives me unlimited flexibility when building models. This tool cuts my building time in half, with profesional results.
