I assembled four sturdy shop work tables with the application of these screws. Economical, self- drilling, and application general - these screws are well worth the expense. I was able to use a minimum of wood, due to the strength and utility of kreg pocket hole joinery.
This is an absolutely awesome setup. The big deal is the Kreg Pocket Screw jig they are used with. You have to use a flat washer type head - thats where these screws come it. Because the Kreg pre-drills a hole near the end of many of the pieces you need to screw together, you cannot use drywall screws as the bugle head will split the ends. These screws are, obviously, square drive screws with a self drilling point. You can literally throw very durable wood projects together with nothing but wood that is cut to the dimensions you want, a drill, and the Kreg Pocket hole kit. Truly, this is one of the handiest things I have for almost any kind of wood working. Very cool.
