I acquired a couple of the Jet clamps as a freebie with a machine purchase. Personally, I'd buy whichever was better priced if I were in the market for more parallel clamps. Much to my surprise, they are the equal of Bessey clamps (which I have a lot of) in performance and actually appear to be better made.
If you need parallel clamps these are great, the little extrasmake a difference. The sliding supports make it easier toset up with the bars hanging over the table.
The clamping heads are even longer and wider than their competition. I have all three major manufactures of these parallel clamps and Jet is by far the easiest to use. The oversize handle feels great in my not as young as they used be hands. My only complaint is that I can not find these clamps locally. The locking positioner eliminates the problem of holding the locking head just right so it will tighten.
Once you know the length you wish to clamp, all can be set very quickly. I have gone to Jet clamps exclusively and now own 12. I just received my 31" Jet parallel clamps. They are easy to use, positively lock where you want them, and minimize wood marking. I highly recommend these clamps to any cabinet maker, professional or hobbyist. The measures on the bars are quite handy when clamping with multiple clamps.
