No wonder our economy is stuck. I aquired an older used workmate and find this price for replacement pegs excessive. They drive people to throw away still usable gear and just buy new. It is geared to people throwing away and buying new. Lame business practices in todays society that condones just throwing itmes away because it makes more sense to put that money into a new product.

Now that I have all four peg grips, the workmate is a lot more versatile. They are peg grips for a Black and Decker Workmate. These little peg grips are what they are. I was given my workmate by my father in-law and it did not have all four peg grips. For a little more the $6, pick up a pack. These came quickly and I did not need to trim or sand to get them to fit.

NOT SO, it is about 1/32 larger than the holes in my workmate. I updated my rating to 3 stars. Not sure if it is worth sending them back or try to modify them to work. Update. I then see-sawed the sandpaper back and forth evenly around all sides of the peg and test fitted until it fits fine now. Certainly not "fits all" out of the package but it was not difficult to make it fit without ruining the round shape. The pegs that came with the workmate fit loosely, these don't even go into the holes. Don't recommend them.

I put each upside down in a vise, folded a piece of sandpaper along its length to make a belt of two sided sandpaper about 1" wide. ---------Just received this product. Package says it fits ALL B&D Workmates.

Your workmate is useless. I was doing some sanding and I needed them to hold on to the wood. I went to amazon.com and ordered the pegs. If you don't have the swivel grip pegs for a workmate. I recently bought a 300 workmate at an auction and it didn't have the pegs. Some of the wood pieces where irregular but, the swivel pegs work great at holding the pieces still and in place so that I could get them sanded. The very first thing that I did was to get online.

Purchased the pegs for replacement on an older workmate portable bench. Same size as the originals--worked great. Probably better than the original pegs.
