User Comments about the Applica/Black & Decker EK700 Slim Grip Electric Knife

For the money you can't beat this electric knife. Oh well, holidays are so noisy, probably won't hear it. The blades move fast, but it's noisy.

The product is as advertised. Fast shipping and very smooth process from start to finish. Very easy to use and more powerful than I expected.

I bought it for using with Norpro Bread Slicer with Crumb Catcher and it works ok. It works very well for cutting meat.I really like this knife. It would be better if the blades were one/two inches longer but it still ok. better then doing with a no electric knife.

The knife was in perfect condition and arrived in a timely manner. My only disappointment was that it was advertised as a 'Slim Line' handle but was not a slim line handle which makes it harder for a small person to hold and manipulate.

I really liked the previous mod of this knife (ERGO). It did not. This item was supposed to arrive WITH a storage case. There is no protection form the edge of the knife blades for storage. There must be better electric knives in the market place.Vic Kritz The knife had trouble cutting through a heavy bread crust.
