The "reconditioned" tag does not bother me at all, it looks just like new and performs the same and has the same warranty as new for a lot less. I have had the Dewalt 7.2V for years and liked it too, but this one will get into a lot tighter spaces and with equivalent torque. This scredriver is a great size and has great power. I really like the fact it has lithium batteries and am expecting them to last longer than the NiCad type on my other cordless tools. Takes a little getting used to with the electronic clutch but it works well once I experiemented with it a little. I also bought an 18V Milwaukee hammer drill with lithium power a few months and they work great.
I purchased a re-conditioned one for myself last year and have had ZERO problems with it. I purchased one for my Father-In-Law at X-Mas, He loves it. You can't tell it from a new one.
Great product.Factory Reconditioned but like new condition.Works great.Product seems high quality and well built.Very useful tool.
Excellent tool. I had to be careful not to squeeze the trigger all the way or the screws would drive too deep - and this is with the lightest clutch settings. I used it to change out all the knobs and door pulls in my kitchen and bathrooms, as well as changing light fixtures. For those of you who are worried that 10.8 or 12 volts aren't enough (like me, used to 18 volt everything) I can assure you it's more than enough.
I have been looking for a long time for such a compact, with fair variable torque output, tool. This tool is everyting I needed, and it comes in a complete kit, like a new unit, with warranty included.I did not use it enough to give a full performance review, but so far it works exactly as I expected it Te price was always the problem.
