The other reason being that we wanted a play and charge because we were tired of dealing with batteries. We had two old controllers that were wearing down and needed replaced so that was the main reason we got this one (and a red one). The cord is long enough to reach from our TV to the couch which is obviously a plus. What's nice is that when the charge is running low, you just plug it into the XBOX 360 and keep playing. There's not much to say about a controller but I just want people to know that this is a good investment. Although we did use rechargeable batteries in our old controllers, it still was just a hassle. If you still want to use batteries, it does come with an extra back for use with batteries. This controller is great and so far has held it's charge for a long time.
Very satisfied with the play and charge kit, simple to use, like that it was available in black, good price.
this controller is a little heavier than the standard xbox 360 controllers bu its still very good quality controller and the buttons are a bit firmer on this than the white one which translates to more quicker reactions during gameplay.
Considering you get a name brand Microsoft controller and a plug-n-play battery for $50, there's really not much to complain about with this deal. Instead of buying another wireless controller, you might as well get this instead. There's really not much to complain about anyways, as it turns out that this is exactly what you would get from MS for much cheaper. The charge lasts for a long time, and you can just plug it into your 360 (or your PC) overnight if the battery begins to run low. No inconvenience whatsoever.
This is a fantastic buy much better than any battery powered controller. It came with a wired charger which is so much better than putting batteries in every 48hrs of gameplay very good recommended.
