I've had this blade on a DeWalt chop for about three or four months of medium use, mostly cutting softwoods and Trex (Which admittedly might be worse for it than wood). Still, for this price, I'd like to be able to go a little longer without sharpening. The lst few weeks, I've been cutting a bunch of mahogany for a kitchen, and the cut quality just hasn't been nearly what you would expect for over a hundred dollars. On the other hand, the teeth on this blade are ENORMOUS, it clearly can be sharpened repeatedly.
I am here now to order a new one. I have used this blade for the past 2 years.just one. I am a professional carpenter and use this blade on average 2 days a week all day and it is just now getting dull. Don't hesitate to buy. I have made myriad projects including oak bar rooms and cabinetry with great precision and never could complain about htis blade.
Don,t force the cut let the blade do all the work. I work in the finish world and do 99% of it in the field. often using prefinished stock and mostly hard wood. You'll get polished end grain and no tearout. From first cut this blade lets you know you got your moneys worth.
