We have a mortiser that we use in a production type atmosphere and it gets used. Unfortunately because the bit breaks the chisel is useless. The chisel works and lasts but the head on the bit has broken several times, sometimes within hours sometimes 3 or 4 days. The chisel stays sharp but the head on the bit breaks within a few days use. We have purchased several bits looking for something that maintains a good edge and stays sharp for a long time. We are still in search for the perfect bit. These bits were not it.
