Very nice saw. Evidently in this case they didn't think it was important enough to get back to me. It has a dust pick-up that comes out of the rear of the unit. It's not compatable with the 1 1/4" vacuum and I asked amazon if an adaper was available.
This jig saw runs about as good as my father in law's dewalt cordless jig. i have the complete set of denali tools, and love each one, but love the pricetag even more. this isn't going to replace a seriouse woodworkers jigsaw, but it deffinalty does the job for a hobbiest or someone who wants a steal of a deal on good tools.
Cleans easily and is much quieter than others I've used, so much so I don't need ear plugs. I had never even heard of the brand Denali before this, but I am certainly going to replace my old circular saw soon and new reciprical too. If there is any problem it is with removing the battery from the saw - a large hand is needed to reach around both sides. The instructions say a recharge should last about an hour, but I found it lasts almost two hours before needing a recharge. Until now I have been very disappointed with rechargeable tools - poor battery life, heavy and awkward to use or life of the tool is so short it is a waste of money, but this saw is different.
I can manage but it is a bit awkward at times. It is heavy, but not nearly as heavy as the one it replaced. (Safety glasses are a must with any power tool). I recommend this tool for all the above reasons, and one more - For the price it performs better than ones costing three and four times as much. The battery recharges quickly too.
