I would probably supplement their use with other clamps as well. These clamps are slightly heavier than other 12" clutch type clamps and seem to be adequate for light to medium duty use. The threads are slightly rough and make for less than smooth tightening. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase. I've only used them on one project so far and they performed as expected.

Just got this 2 pack today so I haven't used it te, but the seem well made and when I tightened the handle against it self, with about the same fouce for a tight glue up, they seemed to stay in line and had no flrx or bow, I will order more of these.
