Since then, I've been too afraid to use a real candle in my powder room, so I'm thrilled with these new flameless candles. My candle just arrived and when I put the batteries in and turned it on, I was really pleased with the candlelight effect. The only reason I couldn't give this a 5 is that I just got it so I haven't really tested it for any period of time. I'm sure I'll be buying more. This is perfect for me because I love the look of a candle in the powder room when guests come over, but I know someone who burned their house down when a candle in the guest bath caught the towels on fire after they forgot to blow it out and went to bed.
We are happy with the purchase, as this really does give the romantic flickering candle look without the worry of a flame. Makes a great gift for anyone.
