I bought this primarily because it was cheaper than the Tormek version. When using this regardless make very light cuts and advance VERY slowly or you'll create ridges on the stone. It works fine, but I can only give it 4 stars since as-is you have to manually advance it by hand and it is tedious and not as accurate as it should be. I bought a truing tool advancer sold elsewhere that makes it much easier and more precise.
Purchased for use on my Triton wet sharpener which had a wobbly wheel out of the box, so I needed to reface it flat with reference to the tool support bar. This diamond tool worked a treat and with a little work and a bit of material taken off the wheel, it was flattened and ready for accurate and consistant sharpening.
Purchased the Jet Sharpener and this tool as a add on. It works perfectly well and the instructional video with the sharpener really helped to understand how and when to use it.
This was the last tool to arrive. When I tried using the diamond the plane irons had already done the job. I had used the wheel for a week before it arrived. The plane irons and flat chisels trued the wheel.
Using this on my Scheppach Tiger 2000 wet grinder. Works great and I couldn't be happier with its performance
