It came with a new case which was better than my old one. This drill is exactly what I wanted. I have been using my first dewalt 18 volt drill for 10 years. All and all a great buy. I have spent $80 a piece for new batteries so when my drill started smoking this was the best fix.
I would recommend this to homeowners and contractors alike. I really like this drill above other brands. Most of my cordless products are DeWalt. The power is good and the hammerdrill feature (although not used often) helps out in a pinch. It's a good foundation to start your cordless system. I had to drill pilot holes in concrete for a project in the rain with no access to power.
