Have used about 2 hours. Watch out for point, it is as sharpe as a razor. Run smooth, no noise and a nice long taper.

Works excellent for projects that have a hole for the live center to set in.

This live center is almost too good to be true. There are no drawbacks to this center (don't split your wood).Amazon is even cheaper than PSI's own website. It is heavy, cleanly machined, accurate, and crazy cheap.

I ordered this live center for my son's lathe, only to find out it was thewrong size (needed morse taper #1). I would definitely recommend this product if your tapers are sized for it. The return process was extremely simple, and the one I bought to replace it was the same brand from a different vendor: bottom line is that I paid more money for essentially the same thing and I had to pay shipping on top of that. If Amazon would have carried the number 1 I could have simply exchanged it.
