What I was looking for was a quality set at a decent price, and one that would have pretty much every socket and accessory I may need. The sockets fit snugly on the handles, and the the handles smoothly release each socket. I have been very happy with the purchase of this socket set. If you want socket set for DIY home projects which works well, has everything you should need, and you don't want to pay too much for it. I am not hard on my tools and do not use them on a daily basis. Lastly, and MOST importantly, when I am using these tools they feel like a quality product rather than a cheap one. I know the black finish will seem gimmicky to the true professional, but I like them.
First, I will tell you that I use it for DIY projects around the house. This fit the bill perfectly. This is it. I will agree with another reviewer that the case holds the sockets very well - perhaps too well - they are sometimes difficult to remove.
Good inexpensive set for weekend machanics. Would recomend though. Case is cheesy and dificult to get sockets out but I assume that's why so cheap. Also, needs wiping down before use to avoid black stains on hands.
I would give it 5 stars if it had better hinges on the case. I realy like the easy to read sizes on the sockets. It would be a nice vehicle set. A nice set. I turn the case up side down and nothing came loose on this set. My main sockets are still 1/2 and 3/4 drive. If I had it to do over, I would have bought the set with the wrenches.
They work for the big jobs and even the little jobs. The product was great. My husband is a mechanic and loves them because they are black instead of the chrome (like everyone elses' in the shop). Very handy and great. They are very durable and easy to move from one job to the next.
Good set and price. the box is not very good, but that was the only issue i had with the set.
