User Comments about the Milwaukee 48-11-1830 V18 18-Volt 3.0 Amp Hour Lithium-Ion Slide Style Battery

We are very happy with our battery and the quick shipping. We well look to this seller for our future tool need's.

Purchased as an upgrade for the NiCd powered drill. The recharge could be fast enough in practical use so that an extra may not be needed or a while. No downside to this change at all, in fact, the trusty Milwaukee 18V drill seems to run a trifle faster and keeps working for days on end before recharge is needed. This will replace multiple NiCd's that were rebuilt a time or two and are getting old and tired.

now in warmenr temps you cannot beat them, they run all day. I for one can tell you these batteries WILL NOT LAST in cold weather. We set out on jobs in cold weather, and by cold I mean 30degrees, these batteries died in 1/8 the normal time they do. We've been using milwaukee tools for 3 years now and they ROCK, but please PLEASE don't belive the cold weather hype This cold weather statement is a flat out lie.

Keep your eyes open, because there are some amazing clearance deals around on the old generation Milwaukee 18V tools. Earlier this year Milwaukee completely revamped their 18V Lithium-Ion tool lineup and changed how the battery packs fit. This is the older style which is also compatible with older Milwaukee 18V tools that originally came with Ni-Cad batteries. Over the past year I've gotten the circular saw, hammer drill, vacuum, Sawzall and a flashlight all at less than 25% of the original street prices. I have had two of these packs for about a year now and they are both still working very well.

It still has a strong charge. Bought the V18 with a quick charger. It was fully charged in 45 minutes. So far, I'm very pleased with this purchase. That was a week ago and I'm still using it about 1 hour daily in my Milwaukee worksite radio.
