The "new" charger is universally compatible with NiCd and Li-Ion 18V cells. CHECK WITH MILWAUKEE FIRST to ensure your tool is compatible. JUST IN TIME: Needing to replace the 18V batteries of my Milwaukee tools for the 2nd time, I realized that my "old 18V NiCd" could be replaced by 18 V Li-Ion pack that was backward compatible with my 18V NiCd tools. most are, but there are a few exceptions. GREAT VALUE & PRICE POINT: I purchased the new Milwaukee charger & 2 Li-Ion packs for FAR LESS THAN 2 "old" NiCd batteries. Uncertain. Although significantly lighter than NiCds, they are a bit larger than the old NiCd batteries.
The "new" 3.0 Amp-hour Li-Ion packs even store more energy than the prior NiCd's 2.4 Ah capacity. The Li-Ion cells even have a novel LED battery "gauge" built in on the sides.GREAT FUNCTIONALITY: Even working out in a COLD garage, these new cells don't fade as the temperature falls. (http://www.milwaukeetool.com/us/en/site.nsf/frmContactUs.OpenForm&nav1=cu) Milwaukee continues to think ahead & make great products.STRONGLY RECOMMENDED REPLACEMENT to any 18V NiCD battery.
These Batteries take a charge faster and hold it much longer than my Ni-Cads. The Charger will also charge Ni-Cad batterues and was able to revive two of my Ni-Cads that would not charge on my original 18v charger
Just bought a tool bag and stuff everything in there.Best price I saw on the internet. Battery works forwards and backwards. Battery charge scale on back isn't funky, just press the dang button you idiots.Only bad thing and it's minor. Everything works as promised. 18v batteries won't fit in the old hard case but this is no fault of the seller, it's Milwaukees.
good price and the value was great get 2 batteries and a charger so cheap
Great battery. A little pricey, yes, but now that I have them, I think it was worth it. It makes my Milwaukee tools seem better than when I bought them new. MUCH better performance than from my Ni-cad batteries.
