The V18 Sawzall® Reciprocating Saw with its Li-ion battery cuts up to forty 2x10's per charge. Gear Protecting Clutch protects tool from blade stalls. Keyless Shoe Adjustment provides fast tool free blade depth adjustments. Blade Clamp accepts blade upside down for close quarter cutting. The Universal Li-ion/NiCd charger will charge any 18V to 28V Milwaukee Battery in 1 hour or less. Tool is backwards compatible with existing Milwaukee NiCd 18V batteries.

Milwaukee had the V18 batts for $51.00 each, a fair price. And oh by the way, the NEW 18 Volt smaller Lith/Ion batt. I would recomend you buy the DeWalt 18v XPR set instead. This is a great tool /battery combo AS LONG AS YOU DON"T NEED MORE BATTERIES. BUT lateley the have raised their price to OVER $100 each. WILL NOT FIT THIS TOOL. Just another way Milwaukee screws their loyal customers.
So as you can see it has a miriad of uses. So far the windows are still in the house but I have used the saw for cutting rebar, wood, replacing rotten decking and pruning. The saw is also light enough to use with one hand in tight positions. Charge time is quick. I purchased this saw to remove old wooden frame windows in our house. The saw is powerful and will cut a lot of stuff before needing a charge. All in all a great product. When a charge is required, if you are used to NiCad batteries, you are in for a pleasant suprise.
