I've bought several over the years (due to wearing them out or I misused them) and they always perform. Highly recommend. I've tried a couple of look-a-likes, but they just didn't have the quality of this product.
Nice little, very handy tool. Exactly the right size to put on your key chain.
I loved my first one but lost it. Knife is real sharp and sissors work well. This really comes in handy and is all stainless steel.
However on the clutch you can access the tools without having to open the whole darned thing. The Clutch is like a powdercoated black that has started to wear off. I am really pleased with this. I have previously purchased a Gerber Clutch, which I am very pleased with. The nail file feels like it will be a lot better than the one on the clutch. Scissors: not large, but large enough to do most of what I will ever need them for (light duty paper trimming, opening small packages occasionally, and cutting yarn or thread when I am crafting).
Ok. Size. It feels like they shot the joints on it with a little silicone or oil or something ahead of time to make the movements feel easier.I see this being my predominant tool I keep on my person. I was mentioning this to my father (this purchase was a birthday present for myself--) and he had never heard of leatherman (.). Also in general the whole thing moves much easier than the clutch: i dont know how many times I nearly broke my already short nails trying to open the tools on the clutch. I purchased a micra today as an addition to the small collection of tools I carry in my purse. This is the first Leatherman I have purchased for myself.
Easily small enough for a lady to keep in her purse or pocket without being bulky. However in my current occupation, I was really in need of something more with the scissors than the pliers. I like the blade on here, it feels a lot more precise and better than the one on the clutch. Hence the micra. Craftsmanship: much better than the Gerber. so I believe in the VERY near future i will be purchasing a second one of these and shipping it to him, I think he would find it very handy. This being the stainless obviously there is nothing to chip off.
I use the Micra much more often than I use my larger Leatherman Tool. I recommend it for all.
