For any wives out there that want to buy their husbands a great gift but don't know exactly what kind of tools to get them I would recommend this DEWALT "DC6PAKIA" toolset. Let me just say that he "absolutely loves it". I bought this tool set as a Christmas gift for my husband. I didn't know if I should get this one or the "DC6PAKRA" set, both seemed to have similiar tools in it, the major difference is the "impact driver', and that one tool makes a big difference. He will love you forever and ever for it, and maybe if you are lucky he will repay you the favor and buy you something in return, lol. This is his first "major" toolset and as my husband said when his eyes were twinkling with delight "you did good", lol.
what can i say that the kit does not say for itself first its a dewalt. extremely happy. second its an xrp kit this is a great base kit for anyone looking to buy or get into a cordless kit. buying 18v add ons will be your next project that never ends.
I've had this toolset for over a year now and everytime I use them they work perfectly. I have used every tool in the set except for the light. I didn't think I would ever need the Hammer Drill until I had to run some lag bolts into the side of my house. I could not have done it without that tool.
A buddy of mine has this set and all the tools work really well. They are really powerful and unlike ryobis saw this saw has tons of power.
This is a great set of tools but I didn't read the fine print and was surprised that the impact driver was a small, pretty much useless, 1/4" driver. These Dewalt tools are very high quality with lots of battery life, you can't go wrong with Dewalt. I had to purchase the 1/2" driver separately but the good news is it came with 2 more batteries and another charger. I ordered these Dewalt tools to replace a set of Ryobi 14 volt tools.
