Great for cleaning tile floors and counters. Very pleased Has squeege for windows and shower doors.
I am soooo glad I bought it. I could never get the grime off and in minutes it was gone. The amount of steam is awesome. I found this item to have really good reviews and it does so much more than just floors for the similar amount of money. I was looking for a steam mop for my tile and grout (especially grout).
My granite is sparkly and the real test was the handles on my oven. Always took hours with bleach and scrub brush on grout due to having mostly tile in my house. Not only has my floors and grout been so clean, but my counters and showers and jacuzzi tub. This is by far my best purchase, it is my new best friend I look for things to clean.
Have used for a couple of hours and no complaints. For the price it is a great value and extremely easy to use.
The only way to get this gunk out is with steam heat or volatile substances that can really damage your records and your health, as some of these substances are known to be cancer causing. The heat will peel paint so be very careful around painted areas. But I recommend it highly. It will work much faster than those puny handheld models, plus, it has helped me clean up many pieces of dirt that seemed glued to my floor, especially in crevices and along baseboard lines. The only compalint is that some of the small plastic brushes will melt under the heat when used a long time at in a concentrated space.
If you have hard water, run a little vinegar through it every so often to keep it from getting clogged with scale, lime, iron deposits, etc. Highly recommended. Mine has held up well in the two years I've had it. If you use one of those vacuum cleaning record devices, then you know how important is it to scrub the water into the grooves to get the ground in dirt loose - however, the prssure of that needle often creates heat binding many substances to the record like glue made from horses. Be careful though. But for almost any floor covering (all that I've tried it on), it's quite a timesaver. It's a great tool for many projects, many of which I've missed listing here because I can't think of all the uses for it right now. Lots of uses for this tool and it's truly heavy duty model.
I highly recommend this cleaner. Plus it can save you from having to use volatile organic solvents, many of which can cause cancer. But they give you a good many duplicates of those, so it's not the downside that it could be. And for car or engine detailing, it's also a great tool.
I ordered this one to replace it. My old one just squirted all the time. Overall, a quality product that seems like it will last more than a year. It has a longer hose (a little awkward to store) and extra tools. Be sure and use distilled water.
It's cute, if that counts. My hardwoods aren't sealed well enough and my tile is older and the finish is worn. It rolls easily, but the hose is really long so it's a long way behind you. I had a different steamer that I liked, but it quit after a year. I really like the trigger for the spray. This one you can control when and where. It looks like a little yellow bug. I like it for my shower, kitchen, windows, patio door, mirrors (keep paper towels handy) and steaming garments.
It has a bigger tank (will go a LONG time on a refill) so I can do the whole bathroom, shower, mirrors, and tile on one fill. I really wanted it for my floors, but after trying it on both my hardwood and tile I decided it wouldn't do for mine. I think that is what did my first steam in. It dulled both floors quickly.
