great for putting security screws into the computer to seek people from stealing ram, video cards, extra hard drives and or wWIFI/NIC cards are the office or at school and even at home.it did save me 400$ because my cable compay had 4 small start security bits and it fell and the hard drive broke free, that was a 400$ charge. it comes in very handy trust me.pros:always good to have aroundkeep people from tampering with your electronics.100 pieces. you never know may need a square bit, a start bit with a hole in the center, a bit that has two seperated pegs that will twist a nut perfectly. this set has every security bit you could ever need. i just used the bit to remove it, put an identical HDD in and cloned it using using clonezilla saving me 400$. youll probably never use half of them, but if you dont get em all one day you will need it lolcons:i dont know what 90% of the bits are for ;xbits do not fit snug into case.bits fall out when you open lid or when case is rattled (my work around to this is more styrofoam like they use in the packing, or a piece of card board cut to that dimensions you need.also paper towels folded over 3-5 times will stop them from moving.trust me it only take 1 time for you to knock all these out and reorganize them until you realized you better think of something quick. the set payed for itself 100 times over so far.
It has security screws to prevent most lay-people from opening it. Shipping was fast. The cost is VERY reasonable. I need to open a hand-dryer (in a bathroom) to adjust the push button occasionally. This kit has the bit I needed for this job, plus SO MANY MORE bits to let me open ANY security screw I'll ever find. A WONDERFUL value. The quality is EXCELLENT.
This security bit set provides many different bit sizes for almost any application you may need, as well as a variety of adapters. The bits are generally long enough to reach most security screws, but may not be able to handle screws inserted into narrow, deeply-recessed holes.If you decide to buy this set, make sure to keep the foam insert inside the case when not in use; if you throw it away, none of the bits on the bottom half of the case will stay in place, leaving ~80 of the bits scattered about inside the case.
We operate a repair business and this bit set is wonderful to have along for those situations that one often cannot predict such as unique fasteners. I've purchased other sets but for the money this is the best we've had and it is more versatile than most.
