Haven't used it a lot, just for general light duty jobs around the house. No problems or complaints. So far it has performed as well as any other drill I've owned in this price category.

So far the cord has not been an issue. I really like it. I received this for Christmas and already used it a couple of times. It's not too heavy and the performance is perfect. Black and Decker is a good company and you can count on their tools to be high quality. I chose a drill with a cord because sometimes I don't have time to recharge the battery when I need a tool.

It is a great price for what you get. it wiggles a little. the plug is very short.-I have noticed when looking at the piece from the front while activating the drill, the piece does not spin perfectly in place. This drill has been useful for all my needs setting up my new studio. It came in a very simple bag. it seems like the tightening part is a little out of calibration.Overall, I would recommend this drill if you are using it to set up simple things around the house. I like it more than my previous drill which came with a huge box with 50 pieces that i had no use for, and the drill bits in that box were not very dependable (some broke).When buying this drill you should note:Pros-Good price-Easy to use-Comes with a nice little phillips/flathead bit that attaches to the top-Very easy to tighten and loosen to change bits.Cons-It does not come with any drill bits, this cost me 4$ to buy a set at the store.-You WILL need an extension cord with this drill.

I bought this drill to do chores around my apartment.hang shelves, cornice, drive a screw etc. I was looking for an inexpensive powerful drill. I found both in this one. I would buy it again. It is comfortable and powerful.

Every time. And like another reviewer noted, the chuck gets stuck and you just about have to use Channel locks to get a hex nut driver out after using it. It will hold onto hex drivers if they're bottomed out in the chuck. It will slip and leave the bit stuck in whatever you are drilling. I will let the other reviewers tell about it's power.

If they're not bottomed out, they will slip once you put pressure on it. The chuck will not hold a drill bit no matter how hard you tighten it. It's like B&D took an old key chuck and put plastic grips on it. If you use this as either a drill or a driver it may make you very angry. I would rather have a key chuck.
