Editorial Reviews:

Titanium is an incredibly hard steel alloy (the military uses Titanium for tank armor) and it makes an excellent cutting surface for other, hard steels like stainless or spring steel. But Titanium steel has less ductile strength (flexibility) and can become brittle in some applications. So we start with a strong, high-carbon steel shaft manufactured for superior ductile strength and braze it with Titanium to get the best of both worlds: an incredibly sharp and hard cutting surface on a drill bit with some 'give'. This set includes sized bits 1/16 to 1/2-inch by 1/64ths, lettered bits A - Z, and numbered bits #1 to #60. Comes in secure-fit ABS case with handle to keep every bit in it's place and easy to find for the next project.

User Comments about the 115-Piece TITANIUM Drill Bit Set - Fractional, Numbered & Lettered Sizes

Several drill bits were bent, a few were in the wrong slots (meaning that when I sorted them out, I had multiples of a few bits and was missing a few others). Stay away from this set. The bits I tried using were dull.

You know the saying you get what you pay for, well in this case it was true. If you are doing drilling in soft wood, grout, or other soft material them they work great, but if you have to drill in hard wood or other hard material then they are crap. The case is really cheap and the bits fall out of their places every time you open or close them and on top of that they aren't sharp at all.

I wanted some cheap drill bits to do some light drilling but these bits were so dull (and some even crooked) that I couldnt even use them.

These "steel" bits couldn't even stand up to thin aluminum. This deal was definitely to good to be true. I broke two bits immeadiatly upon use.
