Only thing that would have been nice is if the saw came with DEWALT DW7082 Vertical Clamp (purchased separately). So far works very well. This is a great saw and the reconditioned one I purchased looked completely new. Cutting crown molding is a piece of cake with the high back fence and crown stop (purchased separately). Overall very satisfied and highly recommend. I've also cut everything from a 2x4 to a 2x10 with ease.
I bought a refurbished saw of which looks same as any new unit other than the small "r' brand on the handle. I think the laser is great. I also bought the laser of which was not working but cost me nada to send back and they had a new one on my door step very fast. I am a DIY 'er. It works perfectly well, no complaints, and sure was a great saving. THANKS AMAZOM Would surely buy refurbished again.
i bought this saw several months ago and have used it extensively. it is the best piece of equipment i own.would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a really good saw
On a customer service note, this unit is the second saw that Amazon shipped to me. I am by no means a pro, but this saw has worked great for me and what I have been working on. I printed their labels and dropped the defective saw off at the post office for return. After an email to them that evening, I had a replacement saw on my doorstep in two days. I purchased this saw to crosscut 2x4's while building some shelves and then to begin some trim projects in the house. The first one started smoking after 10 cuts and I quit running it. Thanks Amazon. I was upset - this is the biggest on-line purchase that I have made, but Amazon was fantastic.
Seems to work great. Only negative might be the dust catcher (it doesn't seem to work very well) but I haven't ever seen one that does, so I still give it 5 stars. I don't use it for a lot of heavy duty stuff, but for what I have used it for, I can't find any problems.
