I had 4 bushings that I couldn't get out. 3 out of 4 came right out with little effort and 1 was probably rusted to the frame wouldn't come out- that's not the product's fault.If I'd know it was this easy, I'd have done it weeks ago.
I bought this kit to remove a broken bolt in my engine block, and it worked GREAT. I strongly recomend it, and advise that you follow the instructions EXACTLY as described. I could not find another tool like it that won't break.
READ THE DIRECTIONS and take your time and they'll work just like they say they will and you'll be happy you bought them.Not an often used tool, but when you need them, nothing else will do. When I did, the lag screw backed right out. I've only needed them 4 or 5 times, but have been amazed each time when the tool bailed me out.It didn't work my first time because I hadn't read the directions and therefore hadn't drilled the head deep enough.
Don't believe the hype.The removal side of the bit snapped off on my first attempt to remove a rusted screw from a snowblower. Waste of money.
Such a simple product that works so well. It is more versatile. Thats all there is to say about it. Buy this 3-piece set, not the single.
