User Comments about the Delta 36-T30 T2 30-Inch Fence and Rail System

Why did I have to wait so long in obtaining this great upgrade. this was an upgrade too my old craftsman table saw. I would have to say after mounting it to the saw that it performs great. well worth the money spent. This makes cutting large boards a pleasure.

I am very happy with the quality of the fence and adaptability to an old Craftsman saw. Later, I found out that I could have bought the fence for $30 less at the local lumber yard.

The fence is well made and appears to be a quality product.Unfortunately, it did NOT fit my older model table saw although the rep at Delta indicated it would. To make the support rails fit, I would need to drill several holes in the angle iron.Decided not to do this, void warranty, and returned the fence. Make sure it will fit your model saw.

Same for the back rail. Can't recommend it highly enough, esp. This is a perfect replacement fence/rail system for my old Craftsman one which was absolutely useless. for the price. I lined up and used one existing hole and used the hole in the new rail to be my guide for the location of the hole in my table saw. Now my new fence system is smooth and pretty damn accurate. All this took about 30 mins of drilling, alignment and testing.

Although the mounting holes on my Craftsman did not match those with the rails, a simple drilled hole in my table was all it took to get this installed. One other item was to remove the sticky measure table on the guide tube and move it to my newly marked zero line. [.]. A great set of instructibles can be found here if you don't want to drill into your table, although I found it required too much calculation and time : [.].Another thing I love about the fence itself is you can remove and replace the aluminum fence board easily by remove the 3 nuts found under the fence tube.

Got this on clearance at Lowe's. Very solid and true. I read it was a cheaper copy of the Beisemeyer, which is 3x more expensive. It is was simple to install on my Delta contractor saw, and is a huge upgrade to the factory fence I had.
