All in all, my children whom I bought this for so they could watch their movies in a 10 hour road trip ended up disappointed. It did not work for me. The ports were too big for my laptop to fit snugly and hence it never charged. Unfortunately for me, I am not too good at returning things, and I am thus left with a piece of junk. As for my cell phone which had a two prong socket, that was even more out of question because it was totally loose in the port.
Got this because like many people we have several devices that we want to use during our frequent trips between Kentucky and Texas. We've used all three outlets at once a it does its job without any problems. It works great and fits nicely on the side of the console out of the way.
I don't pay much attention to the analyzer.Bought it for my work truck, needed more outlets. The best part is U can mount it out of the way.
I travel by car often and sometimes I have my laptop, cellphone charger, rechargeable battery charger etc. Even better, it has a battery meter that lets you know if your battery is loosing power or if everything is still fine. And it is very inconvenient to have just one DC outlet so this socket comes very handy. It is not too big so it wont require too much space and even if your space is limited, the cord is long enough to put it on the car floor.
Extremely happy with this multi socket charger. Functions quite well. I got some industrial strength velcro strips and installed in an accessible yet out of the way place.
