User Comments about the Globe 23-Watt Mini Compact Fluorescent Spiral Bulb (100-Watt Incandescent Equivalent), Soft White, 4-Pack #48526

Just bought this at Walmart, GENERAL ELECTRIC CFL Light Bulb: 26 Watt (100W Equivalent), 6-Pack, $15.16. GREAT PRICE & WORKS SUPER.

I recently purchased the bulb and they arrived in perfect condition contrary to past reviews. I would definitely buy these again. I installed them immediately and absolutely LOVED the light.

So I ordered these 'mini' lamps. They hung out of the pendant light further than the originals. I ended up buying CFLs at Target - I think they're GE - much shorter and the pendants look much better. I bought these bulbs to use in hanging pendant lights. I'll keep them because I can use them for some other fixtures.

The CFLs I had in the pendants were too long and hung out the bottom - just looked crappy. Ha. Shame on me for believing 'mini' meant smaller. Not quite sure what Globe considers "mini" but these things are huge.

All bulbs flicker and make cracking sounds, even when left on for a long time.

These are oversized light bulbs as compared to normal, but they are not monster size or anything. The part that you screw in the lamp is normal sized. They are also brighter than the average spiral bulb. Price is pretty good.
