OUCH!! GOSH DARN IT!! DANG IT ALL!! THAT SMARTS!!
Isn't that what you always say after hitting your thumb with a hammer? Well, Thumbsaver is to the rescue! Invented by a long time framing contractor, the Thumbsaver is a durable hand tool that houses a powerful magnet to hold virtually any nail, staple, or screw, while keeping thumbs and other appendages at a safe distance. Thumbsaver has a rubber comfort grip secured around a durable solid alluminum shaft that houses a strong magnet on the end able to hold virtually any fastener. It has proven on the jobsite to hold up to the toughest use and abuse from the heaviest of waffle head hammers. Thumbsaver takes it like a champ so your finger nails don't have to!
Have no fear when setting nails or staples in hard to reach spots. Easily hold tiny staples, tacks, picture hanging hardware, or finishing nails, never thinking twice about your hands. Professionals, weekend do-it-yourselfers, hobbiests, redecorators and crafters alike, rave about the innumerable uses of this ingenious and practical tool.
Finally, there is a hand tool so simple, universal, and useful that anyone regardless of age, gender, or nationality can use it and appriciate it. We have found that everyone we have talked to from around the world that use and love the Thumbsaver all have a story about a time they busted their hand. It just goes to show that anyone who has ever held a hammer has hit their thumb. That unnecessary consequence of building and remodeling is the very reason that the tool was invented. After hitting his thumb for 25 years, Robert Meitzler said, "Enough is enough."
Now everyone can enjoy a pain-free sense of accomplishment after completing any project large or small.

This is one of those no-brainer simple tools that any mechanically inclined person should have invented years ago. Save a few smashed fingers and by this inexpensive tool. It is a tool that while on the job you conveniently carry in your pocket and use when the nailing position is a little awkward.
I purchased this tool (ThumbSaver) just a short time ago but have already found several uses for it in the on going process of home maintenance. If you have even an occasional nail or screw to drive I recommend the purchase of the ThumbSaver. Since one can easily see from the write up what the tool is used for there is no need to explain the obvious so I will simply say that the tool does exactly what it was designed to do and does it well.
Great for holding nails in those hard to get places. Great idea and great product. Equally as great for using small nails that are hard to get a hold on.
These two"holders" protect your fingers from being damaged while trying to hold small nails, brads, staples, screws and the like. One improvement would be for the smaller tool to fit inside the larger tool saving some storage space. You can also use these tools to "reach" spots that your fingers cannot, so starting the above items in tight areas is a much easier procedure. I made a prototype of this tool a few years ago but never got it made; I'm glad these folks did, so I could buy theirs.
This is one of those tools that you wish you had invented yourself. This is worth every cent I spent. I've hung several items and it made hanging things easer. It kept my hand out of danger and I like it.
