Bolt patterns lined-up fine for my Rigid 10" miter saw. "Nice to haves" would be options for 2 wheels to make moving the stand w/ saw attached easier. But, the attachment makes for a sturdy connection between saw and stand. I am very pleased with the quality, functionality, and value of this stand. Also, it takes a little getting used to releasing the saw platform when reaching behind the saw and tilting it to the front for removal.
It is very sturdy, and the wing extensions are quite sturdy as well. Mounting the saw on the inside bolt channels provide approx. 2" of space on each side of saw for tape, pencil, etc. holding.
Should be a good choice for the do-it-yourselfer. Mounted a Rigid 12" miter saw with no problems. For the price you can't beat it. Sturdy, light weight for transport and easy to setup. At $99.00 and free shipping from Amazon it's a great deal. I'm not a contractor so this will not get a lot of heavy usage.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a sturdy well amde stand that easily accomodated my unusual saw setup. Otherwise an excellent value. My only compaint is the way the side arms are set up and the configuration of the supports. They do not support very long pieces of moulding very well.
We are very pleased with this miter saw stand. A great price for a priceless amount of help. It beats the heck out of the old saw-horses that'd just teeter under the weight of the saw. It folds up compactly for ease in taking to the jobsite and is very sturdy.
I never thought of having one of these until I saw one on the web site. It works fine, even though I had to rearrange my shop to account for the length.
