User Comments about the Stanley 93-292 FatMax Mobile Project Center 33-Inch Tall Clamping Work Bench and Hand Truck

The table is good and the vice usable. set which can be stored on the dolly and then wheeled into position for use. Pretty good but doesn't knock my socks off. Overall this is well built and sturdy. Overall this is to heavy for the dolly feature to be really useful.

Pretty heavy though. The indoors only is due to a dubious electrical one plug to 3 gadget, that frankly I would not use indoors. A simple clip to hold a heavy duty cable or GFI cable would be much more useful. I could not get the cotter pin into the axle hole even with considerable pressure from some very large vice grips so IMHO with the cranks on handles not lining up I can't give this really high build quality rating--not bad at all though.Where this is most useful is for an occasional set of tools like a cordless drill/saw/etc.

It's easy to assemble, rugged and a solid work-station. I've made one up, but I'm sure Stanley could do better. I'll provide a design suggestion for much less than an AIG exec's bonus). I used to have a Black & Decker WorkMate, but gave it away when I moved across country. (Are you listening, Stanley.

When I needed another similar portable work-stand, I saw this on Amazon, bought it and have been very pleased. At first I thought that I'd prefer the laminated wood (separable) top that the B & D had, but these plastic ones on the Stanley are plenty-tough (and well reinforced). And I don't miss the "feet" always falling out of the legs on the B & D. I don't think I'll use it as a hand truck, but the wheels make it so much easier to move around (when in folded position), rather than carrying it.One thing I's like to see, an accessory that would allow a wider "grip", like when I want to work on a larger item (such as a large picture frame).

I looked long and hard at the other "workbenches" before I purchased this one. It is very well balanced and holds your projects nicely. The handles retract down and out of the way when not in use. The Stanley FatMax Mobile Workcenter is a must have tool for any do it yourselfer. The only improvement that I would make to it is to lengthen the handles so the dolly would be taller.

It is lightweight ,easy to operate and another set of hands if you will. I like the way it is designed and the all aluminum and composite construction. It folds up nicely into a dolly that can be used for a variety of chores. When you are ready to use it, it unfolds nicely and stays put.

you will like it a lot. I used also as a step stool but needs like the first step to get on top, otherwise just climb it., if u buy it, have fun. specially places where is no place to leave tools or something to work in (like construction jobsites). Turns into a hand truck very easy and will help you everywhere.

Easy to assemble and use. I am not a fan of plastic for these kinds of things but this item is okay for using pastic.
